How to Complete the A Useful Flint Quest in Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream couldn’t have been called a proper Japanese role-playing game if it didn’t come with its fair share of optional sidequests that allow players to get more resources while having fun.

Most of these optional quests in the latest entry in the Atelier series are relatively straightforward, but they can become frustrating if you do not know precisely how to fulfill their requirements.

Here’s how to complete the A Useful Flint quest as quickly as possible.

How to Complete the A Useful Flint Quest in Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream

To initiate the A Useful Flint quest in Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream, you will have to speak with Kati at the Crystal Sparkle Pavillion. This is the standard procedure for every optional quest in the game.

To complete the A Useful Flint quest you will need to deliver 3 units of Kaen Stone. This item can be found relatively easily at the start of the game, as it can be obtained from rocks containing ore in the Newborn Verdue or Breezy Field areas of Windswept Plains. Explore these two areas around, and you will find plenty of them.

Once you have found three units of Kaen Stone, bring them back to Kati. You will get 305 Cole as reward for completing this short and sweet quest.
