How to Complete the Abaddon’s Assault Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

Many of the sidequests in Shin Megami Tensei V that are available since the start of the adventure pit players against powerful demons, but the ones available in the first few wards cannot compare to the challenge level of those that can be initiated in the Taito ward, the game’s final ward.

Among the quests that can be started in this ward is the Abaddon’s Assault sidequest. Here’s how to complete it as quickly as possible.

How to Complete the Abaddon’s Assault Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

The Abaddon’s Assault quest can be started by speaking with the Kurama Tengu that is located to the north of the Shinobazu Pond Leyline Fount in the Taito ward. The demon’s precise location can be found on the map below.

The Kurama Tengu will ask the Nahobino to destroy Abaddon, a huge demon that can be found to the north of the Kurama Tengu’s location as highlighted on the map below.

Once you interact with Abaddon, you will have to fight it. The massive demon is weak against Electricity and uses Physical attacks, so bring the appropriate demons to make the fight easier. Abaddon also uses the powerful Mabufudyne Ice skill after charging Magatsuhi, so Ice Dampeners are also a requirement to avoid getting damaged by this skill.

After taking down Abaddon, go back to the Kurama Tengu and speak with the demon to complete the quest. You will receive three units of Grimoire as well as 55,000 EXP points as reward.
