How to Complete The Downtown Rock ‘n Roll Sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei V

The Downtown Rock’n Roll sidequest can be started by speaking with the Ippon-Datara who can be found on the top of a building to the west of the Ueno Leyline Fount in the Taito Ward. The location can be reached by taking advantage of the big highway next to the building.

The Ippon-Datara will ask you to bring 10 Dragon Scales, which can be obtained by defeating Fafnir and Yamata-no-Orochi, who can both be found all over the Taito Ward. Both are high-level demons, but the Yamata-no-Orochi is considerably more powerful, so consider going after Fafnir in case your level is not high enough.

Once you have obtained enough Dragon Scales, go back to Ippon-Datara to complete the quest and receive three Critical Gems as well as 40,000 EXP points as reward.
