Complete Guide for the Simpler Life Challenge in BitLife

For this challenge, we need to knock out the following objectives:

How to be Born a Female in California

This challenge needs us to become a hard-working and earnest lady, so start a new life and set your gender to female. Then, set your country to United States, and the place to either Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego—any major city in California will do.

For players that have purchased God Mode, you can cheat a little bit here and knock out two objectives with one stone. When you’re creating your new life, make sure to edit your starting attributes and set your Looks to 100%. You’ll still have to maintain the 100%, though.

How to Own a Chihuahua

Live out your early years of your life as normal. Be good to your family, stay in school, and get good grades. When you graduate from high school, you can go to university if you want to get a better job, but landing a smaller part-time job is probably enough to get by with the rest of the objectives.

The first thing you’ll need to do is own a chihuahua. Go to the Activities menu, then go to Pets. You can either check out the Animal Shelter and see if there are any chihuahuas up for adoption, or you can go to a Dog Breeder.

The Animal Shelter is the cheapest option, usually costing around $100 to adopt. However, chihuahuas are a desired breed, so it’s completely up to chance if you see one in there or not. If you want to cycle out the animals in the shelter, you’ll need to manually close BitLife.

The Dog Breeder is the fastest option as you can go to a chihuahua breeder, but is more expensive than adoption. Expect to pay around $450 for a pure bred chihuahua, so make sure you save up enough.

How to Have 100% Looks

For this objective, your Looks meter must be completely maxed out. Do note though that if your Looks drops at any point, which it will naturally as you age, this objective will be unmarked as completed.

The best way to handle this is to maintain your Looks as you work on the other objectives. This includes going to the gym daily, going for walks, hitting up the nail, tanning, and waxing salons, and plastic surgery if it comes down to it.

You don’t need to hit 100% right away if you’re still working on the other objectives. Just try to keep it relatively high, maybe somewhere above 80%. Then, when you’re done with the other objectives, you can focus all your efforts into a last push for getting your Looks up.

How to Emigrate to Bolivia

To emigrate to another country, open the Activities menu and scroll down until you see Emigrate. A drop-down list of seven countries will be selected at random, and if you don’t see Bolivia, simply back out and try it again. If you have the Golden Passport purchased, you can select Bolivia directly.

Emigration usually costs somewhere around $1,000, so make sure that you’ve saved up some money for this. If you don’t have enough, a simple part-time job is more than enough to get some dough. The Golden Passport makes emigration always free, if you have it.

How to Become a Roadkill Remover in Bolivia

Now that you’re living in Bolivia, it’s time to achieve your lifelong dream of becoming a roadkill remover! The only real requirement for this job is owning a car, so if you don’t already have one, it’s time to hit up the dealership.

You don’t need a fancy car to get the job done, so a cheap, used car will do the trick. Just try to get one in decent condition. If you can’t afford it, spend some years in Bolivia with a random job until you save up enough money.

It’s time for the tedious part of this challenge, and that’s waiting for the roadkill remover job to show up. Head into the Occuptation menu, go to Jobs, and look for the roadkill remover job. If it’s not there, age up a year, or manually close BitLife if you don’t want to waste years.

The job showing up on the list is completely random, so this may take a few cycles before it shows up, depending on how unlucky you are.

And that’s it! Once you’ve landed the job, the Simpler Life challenge is officially complete. If you have any other tips or questions, let us know in the comments below, and don’t forget to check out the rest of our BitLife coverage.
