Call of Duty Mobile (COD Mobile) was released in 2019 and is a firm favourite among COD fans. A feature widely enjoyed during the beta period of COD Mobile was that it was controller supported however, this feature was removed when the game went live all over the world. Using a PS4 Controller on COD Mobile
There is currently limited controller support for COD Mobile, with only 2 types of controller allowed. Menu navigation is still touch-controls only, but players can use PS4 and PS5 controllers, as well as Xbox One and Series X/S controllers.
Other controllers, such as generic bluetooth controllers may well work but they are not officially supported.
Connecting a Controller to COD Mobile
Follow the steps below to connect your controller to COD Mobile on Android:
- Pull down notifications and long-press Bluetooth icon
- Tap ‘Pair New Device’
- Hold down PS and Share button until the controller starts to flash
- Select the controller from the list

- Open Settings
- Tap Bluetooth Settings
- Hold down PS and Share button until the controller starts to flash
- Select the controller under ‘Other Devices’
