Little Hero: Idle RPG is, as you can probably guess, a fantasy idle RPG where your hero continues to fight even when you’re not actively playing the game. The game features a lot of different mechanics, and today we’ll be talking about the crafting system in Little Hero: Idle RPG.

Firstly, there actually isn’t a traditional crafting system in Little Hero: Idle RPG. Instead, you’re given tools to fine-tune your gear. You can enhance armor and weapons to improve their stats and bonuses if you happen to meet the appropriate NPC during a random event.

To enhance your gear, you’ll need to visit the Forge Master, who has a chance to show up as a random event. Your random events will refresh about every minute or so, but only if you’ve activated them, so make sure to activate as many events as you can if you’re looking for the Forge Master.

The Forge Master will enhance your gear for a gold fee. The rarer the item, the more expensive the fee. However, if you’re worried about wasting gold on a piece of gear you’re going to replace anyway, you’re refunded the full amount of gold you spent on that gear whenever you sell it. Go ahead and enhance away, as there’s no need to be conservative with your gold.

As you progress through the game, you’ll start encountering different random event NPCs that can modify your gear. The Refine Master can upgrade gear prefixes that grant bonus stats. The Recast Master can change gear prefixes altogether.

You’ll need to take advantage of all three NPCs in order to get the most of your equipment. If you’re struggling with enemies in your current zone, it may be wise to evaluate the state of your gear.
