How to Crawl in Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Minecraft Bedrock Edition is everyone’s favourite sandbox game. However, although Bedrock Edition and Java Edition are developed in parallel, some mechanics differ in these versions. For example, the ability to crawl in Java and Bedrock differ dramatically, and in this guide, we will tell you how to crawl in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

The crawling mechanic was originally designed as a safety system against getting stuck. That is when the player got into a situation where the space around him narrowed less than allowed, namely in places with a block height of fewer than 1.5 blocks, then he goes into crawling mode. For example, you threw an Ender Pearl into a one-block bottleneck, or you were accidentally pinched by a piston, in such cases this system works. However, this only applies to the Java Edition.

In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, this feature is completely absent. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no official feature of crawling in this version of Minecraft. However, there is a glitch that can cause your character to crawl.

You need to be at least two blocks high in the water because, with the latest updates, the character must be completely in the water to enter the float mode. Next, you need to place a block so that the next underwater zone is one block high. And then build a small roof above the water level to form a hole one block high.

The essence of the glitch is simple, you need to enter swim mode, and then carefully swim out into a zone one block high, so you will crawl. As soon as you crawl to an area where there will be free space at least 2 blocks high, your character will return to normal.
