How to Create Game Folders on Nintendo Switch

The new so-called Groups feature is still pretty limited as players will only be able to create a maximum of 100 groups, with each folder having the capacity to accommodate up to 200 games. Still, this will make organizing and sorting games much easier and more user-friendly. Here’s how you can create game folders, aka Groups, on Nintendo Switch:

  • Go to the Homepage and then scroll all the way to the right and select the “All Software” option.
  • Next, at the top of the screen, you will notice a group option that can be accessed by hitting “L.”
  • A page will appear which will display all the previously created groups. However, users who haven’t created one will get a prompt to create their first group.
  • Then you can browse and select as many titles as you want (limited to 200) from the list and keep pressing next until you are sure that the group is complete.

After creating your first group, you can tap the “+” button to make additional ones. The update also allows users to organize the games either alphabetically or in terms of the most played games.
