Whenever a game with character customization options comes out, you know there will be some fans trying to recreate the looks of their favorite heroes from some other franchises. The same goes for Diablo 4. This demon-slaying RPG leaves a lot of room for personalization when it comes to creating your unique in-game persona, starting with five classes and numerous options to change faces, hairstyles, clothes, or tattoos.
If Diablo 4 is occupying your attention at the moment but you still don’t want to say goodbye to your favorite heroes from the God of War and The Witcher series, there is a middle way. In this guide, we will show you how to create Kratos and Geralt in Diablo 4 and have these iconic characters explore the world of Sanctuary.

How to Create Kratos (God of War) in Diablo 4
While you won’t be able to run around and grumble Boy! Boy! All the time, there’s a lot that you can do to make your Diablo 4 character resemble the Ghost of Sparta. Let’s start with the class. You probably guessed it—we’re going to go with Barbarian here because it gives you the body type worthy of the god of war.
For a better overview of all the steps you need to take to get Kratos’ trademark look, check out this list:
- Face Variation—4/4
- Skin Tone—2 (for that pale ghostly look)
- Eye Color—Black
- Hair Style—1/11 (bald, duh)
- Facial Hair—2/11 (if you want the older Kratos look from the Norse mythology games)
- Hair Color—Black
- Makeup—14/14
- Jewelry—1/33
- Markings—3/6
- Markings Color—Fresh Blood
If you want the younger version of Kratos, you can pretty much keep all these steps except for the Facial Hair, where you can go for option 6/11 and that goatee that Kratos used to sport during his rampage through ancient Greece. You can get even closer to Kratos’ look by equipping some gear in the style of God of War and adding a sizeable axe to complete it.
How to Create Geralt (The Witcher) in Diablo 4
Recreating Geralt in Diablo 4 is a bit more difficult because Diablo 4 doesn’t offer that many customization options, but we tried to get as close as possible to The Witcher’s original look. We started with Rogue as the class that would match Geralt’s body type and chose the first Rogue model on offer. Other customization options include:
- Face Variation—4/4
- Skin Tone—2
- Eye Color—Light Brown (this is the closest option to The Witcher’s yellow eyes)
- Hair Style—7/11
- Facial Hair—10/11 (you can also go for the clean-shaven look)
- Hair Color—White
- Makeup—14/14
- Jewelry—1/33
- Markings—1/6
Unfortunately, Diablo 4 doesn’t allow recreating Geralt’s famous scars, and the hairstyle that he sports in The Witcher 3 is not quite there, but a white ponytail comes close enough. Just like with Kratos, try to equip your Diablo 4 Geralt with armor and other items that would resemble one of The Witcher’s medieval outfits the most. And the best thing is that Diablo 4 allows you to have your own Roach, but you will have to wait until Act 4.
We hope you have fun with your Diablo 4 Kratos and Geralt. If you need more help with finding the best aspects or deciding on the most powerful builds, check out more of our guides in the dedicated Diablo 4 section here on TouchTapPlay.
