Mighty DOOM is your classic run and gun DOOM action, but everything is fun-sized! As the Doom Slayer, blast your way through hordes of demons, and take on powerful bosses that are based on iconic enemies from DOOM history.
We are taking on the Doom Hunter this time around, the cybernetic demon introduced in DOOM Eternal. Let us take a look at how to defeat Doom Hunter in our Mighty DOOM boss guide.
Mighty DOOM: Doom Hunter boss fight guide
The Doom Hunter is a half demon and half cybernetic abomination. Its bottom sled grants it superb mobility, and it can take on just about any foe with its chainsaw arm, heavy machine gun, and arm cannon.
The Doom Hunter is most vulnerable to ballistic damage, so you should stick to weapons like the Heavy Cannon and Combat Shotgun.
At the start of the fight, the Doom Hunter unleashes a steady torrent of bullets from the machine guns mounted on its sled. The Doom Hunter slides back and forth horizontally while firing the machine guns, so you need to move with it in order to avoid the bullets.

The Doom Hunter periodically fires explosive blasts at you with its arm cannon. It likes to do this while peppering you with its machine guns, so make sure to watch for when its arm cannon glows orange, as that is when it is about to fire.
Occasionally, the Doom Hunter fires homing rockets at you as well. Thankfully, these rockets travel pretty slowly, so they give you ample time to get out of the way. Just make sure not to run into the other bullets on the screen.
Once you get the Doom Hunter to around 50% health, its hover sled explodes, drastically reducing its mobility and firepower. The Doom Hunter can no longer use its rockets or machine guns, so you have a lot more breathing room to work with.
The Doom Hunter uses its arm cannon more frequently with its sled gone, as it needs to make up for the lack of firepower. You can get in close to deal some good damage with close-range weaponry, but just be careful of its chainsaw melee attack.
The Doom Hunter stays put for the most part since the hover sled is missing, but it can still ram you with a charge attack. Stay on the move, and you should be able to dodge it.
Honestly, the Doom Hunter becomes pretty easy once you destroy its sled, so just unleash all your weapons, and you should be able to take it down swiftly.
