How to Defeath Lahmu (2nd Fight) in Shin Megami Tensei V

Right from the demon’s very first appearance, Lahmu looks like a rather scary enemy in Shin Megami Tensei V. You will have to fight the demon twice during your time in Da’at, and the second fight is considerably more complicated, consisting of multiple phases that you will put your skills and knowledge of the game to the test.

How to Defeat Lahmu (2nd Fight) in Shin Megami Tensei V

Lahmu is fought for the second time in Shin Megami Tensei V in Shinagawa Station. This will be a very challenging fight, as it consists, as already mentioned, of three different phases.

During the first phase, you will have to destroy the demon’s tentacles while surviving their attacks. The tentacles are weak against Force and Light, so bring as many demons as you can that can use Zan and Hama skills.

Once the tentacles have been destroyed, it is time to fight Lahmu for real. During this phase, the demon will unleash its full might against you, using a variety of skills that deal Almighty, Ice, Electricity, Darkness and Physical damage. While this makes it impossible to put together a party that can fully resist Lahmu’s attack, you can still use this knowledge to your advantage by altering the Nahobino’s resistances via Essence Fusion. During this phase, Lahmu is weak against Force and Light attacks, so continue attacking as you did in the first phase.

After defeating Lahmu’s first form, you will have to fight the demon again. In this form, Lahmu is weak against Fire and is capable of dealing Almighty, Physical, Electric, and Darkness damage, as well as inflicting Confusion, so switch up your demon party as needed. At this point, you may be out of MP so do not hesitate to restore them with items, even if it means being able to perform any other action on your turn. Attack using Fire skills, debuff the enemy, and Lahmu will eventually go down, for good this time.
