Supercell added a brand new rarity of cards in Clash Royale called Champions, which do not fall under a player’s deck cycle, making them more efficient when compared to all the other rarities. The developers introduced Champions with the November 2021 update and currently there are 3 Champion cards in the game: Archer Queen, Golden Knight and Skeleton King. If you are looking to add these new cards to your collection, here’s how you can earn Champions in Clash Royale.

How to Earn Champions in Clash Royale
You can only unlock Champions after or when you reach King Tower level 14 and possess special powers, known as abilities, which can be interacted with from the bottom right side of the screen. You can earn Champions in Clash Royale in the following ways:
- Level up Chests – Reaching King Level 14 will present you with your first Champion from your Level Up Chest
- Chests – Except for Epic Chests and Legendary Chests, Champions can appear in any kind of Chests.
- Pass Royale – Once every Season, opening a Royal Wild Chest on Tier 30 of the Free Reward track guarantees 1 Champion if you’re at King Level 14.
- Limited Shop Offers – Champion cards also appear in the in-game Shop, however, these are very rare.
Champion cards start at card level 11 and can be upgraded up to level 14. That’s all there is to it. Good Luck!
