There are lots of survivor games out there but not many of them tend to provide the thrill and suspense that Project Zomboid offers. It’s a captivating sole survivor game that takes place in the state of Kentucky, also known as ground zero for a zombie apocalypse.
In this game, you must strive to survive against hordes of zombies by building urban strongholds to keep the horde out and protect yourself for as long as you can. You’ll also have to scavenge for food and other important items in nearby houses. In this article, however, we’ll be showing you how to enable Debug Mode in Project Zomboid.
How to Enable Debug Mode in Project Zomboid
It’s pretty easy to enable debug mode in the game as what you need to do is add -debug to Project Zomboid’s launch options via Steam. So to do this, simply find the launch options for Project Zomboid by right-clicking on the game from your library.
After right-clicking on the game, you’ll see a list of options to choose from. Click on the one that says ‘Properties’ and it’ll open and reveal the Properties tab. Under this tab, you’ll then locate Launch Options below the General tab.
Now, under the Launch Options, copy -debug into the input box and launch the game. This should enable debug mode in Project Zomboid.
Using Debug Mode in Project Zomboid
After enabling debug mode, you’ll have to either load or create a new game to use it by clicking the debug mode icon. This mode will allow you to toy around with different options and commands such as Enable Godmode, Spawn items, Climate control, Control Zombie Spawns, Teleporting, Change stats and others.
