Minecraft Bedrock’s beta 1.19.0.24 update is finally here with a ton of new cool features. The latest patch adds Spectator mode followed by several bug fixes to the existing content.
Although Spectator mode isn’t new to Minecraft’s metaverse, it’s still under development for Bedrock Edition and players can hopefully expect its full release in the next update.
Until then, if you’re a Minecraft Bedrock beta tester, you can lay down your hands on this new mode with the help of this guide.
How to use Spectator mode in Minecraft Bedrock?
Spectator mode is one of the most requested features by Minecraft Bedrock fans. After prioritizing the multiple feedbacks, Mojang Studios is developing the first iteration of spectator mode to get your feedback to plan for the next iteration.
The Spectator mode basically allows players to fly over the Minecraft world and observe it from any angle. However, spectators can’t interact with anything around them and can only have a look at activities happening around them.
In order to use it in Minecraft Bedrock, open the Console menu and input the “/gamemode spectator” command to use Spectator mode. As we’ve mentioned earlier, Mojang Studios is currently developing this feature; hence, players may encounter several bugs and glitches while using it.
The developers have also confirmed that any content or maps built on this feature will not be supported until they have a more polished version of Spectator mode for us.
