Copy Abilities, also called special abilities, enemy’s ability, or Special Powers, are powers that Kirby and other members of his species can acquire in various ways during gameplay. They have appeared in all of his games since Kirby’s Adventure, other than most of the Kirby spin-off games. They have been a staple feature of the Kirby franchise ever since their introduction.

The main way that Kirby gets his abilities are from inhaling and swallowing certain enemies, mid-bosses, weapons, or objects, and hence the name, “Copy Ability.”

How to Evolve Copy Abilities in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Kirby and the Forgotten Land contains 10 standard Copy Abilities, two of which are new. In addition, each Copy Ability has Evolved Abilities; normal abilities have two evolutions, while those that are limited-use have only one. Copy Abilities can be evolved with Star Coins and Rare Stones, along with Blueprints.

Star Coins can easily be found throughout each level in the game, while Rare Stones are obtained from Treasure Road challenges. Once you have the needed materials, make your way to Waddle Dee’s Weapon Shop to enhance Kirby’s Copy Abilities. Not only are Evolved Copy Abilities stronger, but they have useful secondary effects to go along with them as well!
