The easiest way to acquire a Happiny of your own is by receiving an egg that contains one in Hearthome City, by talking to the Hiker near the Route 209 – Solaceon City sign board!
Other than that, you can find one in the wild as well. Happiny is a relatively rare Pokemon to encounter, in the sense that its encounter location isn’t very obvious, and its encounter rate isn’t too high either.
Just visit the Trophy Garden and roam in the wild encounter area; here, you will have a 10% chance to encounter a Happiny at Level 16-18 during any time of the day.
How to evolve Happiny in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?
Evolving Happiny itself is pretty easy. All you need to do is level up Happiny during the day while it holds an Oval Stone!
Oval Stones can be found on wild Happiny itself; they have a 50% chance of holding one. You can also acquire an Oval Stone on the 2nd floor of the Lost Tower on Route 209.
