Manaphy, the Mythical Pokemon introduced in Generation IV, possesses the pure Water typing and is part of a group of Legendary Pokemon known as the Pixie Legendaries, which also include Pokemon like Mew, Celebi, Mesprit, and so on.
Manaphy has been a fan-favorite of Pokemon players ever since it was introduced, and has continued to make its appearance in Pokemon games throughout the years. So yeah, you better bet your Pokemon-catching butt that Manaphy makes its appearance in Pokemon Legends: Arceus as well!
With all these various Pokemon getting new evolutions as we venture into the ancient Hisui region, did you ever wonder if Manaphy gets a new evolution as well? Here’s your chance to find out!
Does Manaphy Evolve in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
While Phione does not evolve into Manaphy, it can loosely be called Manaphy’s pre-evolution, as breeding a Manaphy with a Ditto leads to a Phione egg being produced, in the main series games that have come before Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
That being said, there is no evolution for Manaphy to date. Whether it will ever receive an evolution or not is unknown as well.
Where to Catch Manaphy in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Capturing Manaphy requires you to accept and progress towards the end of Request 66: The Sea’s Legend. You will have to take on three Phione and one Manaphy, where you will be given the chance to catch Manaphy, as well as all of the three Phione.
