How to Evolve Snorunt Into Glalie in Pokémon Legends Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released last month after much fanfare and hype. It is the latest instalment in the Pokémon series and takes a much different turn than its predecessors do in terms of storytelling and game mechanics.

The game takes place in the ancient Hisui region, which would become modern-day Sinnoh eventually. Fighting and capturing Pokémon is drastically different with battles taking place on the overworld instead of turn-based instance battles as was the staple of the series thus far.

One of the Pokémon introduced in the game was a returning Gen 3 Pokémon: Snorunt.

Snorunt

Snorunt is a Generation 3 Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. It is an Ice-type Pokémon that inhabits the colder regions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Speaking of colder regions, Snorunt can be found primarily in the Alabaster Icelands. To be more specific, players can run into Snorunt at any of these locations in the Icelands:

  • Whiteout Valley
  • Bonechill Wastes
  • Avalanche Slopes
  • Avalugg’s Legacy

Now that players know where to catch a Snorunt, the next question is how to evolve it.

Evolving Snorunt

This can be a cause for question because Snorunt has two different forms to evolve into:

  • Glalie
  • Froslass

Both of these forms have different methods of evolution. Froslass is an Ice/Ghost-type Pokémon that evolves when a Dawn Stone is used on a Female Snorunt only.

Meanwhile, Glalie is a pure Ice-type Pokémon just like Snorunt and getting it is a lot less complex. All the player has to do is to train the Snorunt to level 42 and it will evolve into Glalie, regardless of gender!
