Tangela is a fascinating Pokémon that was introduced in Generation I of the long-running franchise, and it has once again makes an appearance in the franchise’s latest entry in its game series, Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Despite its newly introduced features and a semi-open world gameplay, Pokémon Legends: Arceus offers new tweaks to the gameplay mechanics but at its core, the game still revolves around battling, catching, and evolving Pokémon.

In this article, we’ll be guiding you on how to easily evolve Tangela into Tangrowth in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Players can evolve Tangela into Tangrowth, but there is no evolution requirement that makes this easy as with other Pokémon. As a Pokémon that must learn a specific move in order to evolve into Tangrowth, Tangela’s move in question is known as Ancient Power.

This move became tied to many Pokémon evolutions since Generation IV, with Tangela being one of them, and now it’s back again in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

So in order to evolve Tangela into Tangrowth, Tangela has to learn the Ancient Power when it reaches level 24. Grinding will help you get Tangela to that level, and you can also use Rare and EXP Candies to speed up the process.

Once Tangela has reached level 14, you will be able to evolve it into Tangrowth.
