Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 has been full of fun Chrome features and locations. Each week new quests arrive, and some of these utilize this new mechanic, including this week’s quest to turn into a Chrome Blob and fall for 7 stories or more. This has been a trickier quest to complete so we are here to tell you how to do it easily! Find out below how to fall 7 stories in Chrome Blob form in Fortnite.
Complete the Chrome Blob Quest for Week 6
This week the quests requires players to become a Chrome Blob and then fall for 7 stories or more. This means players need to find some Chrome Splash, or use one of the Chrome Tornadoes spotted around the map, and get up very high. They will then need to transform into a Chrome Blob and fall from very high up, landing safely on the ground beneath.

As a Chrome Blob, players will suffer no fall damage, so there is no reason to worry about how far you are going to fall. The first thing to do is find a very high point to jump from. Next, chromify yourself with a Chrome Splash, or by jumping into a Chrome Tornado.
Next, turn into a Chrome Blob by using the sprint action button while Chromed, and jump from the highest point you can find. We recommend doing all this at Herald’s Sanctum where there are high points to get to, and plenty of Chrome to use.
Here is how we achieved this:
- Farmed materials and Chrome Splash around Herald’s Sanctum
- Built to the top of the tallest pillar we could find
- Became a Chrome Blob when at the highest point
- Launch Chrome Blob self from pillar
When you land at the bottom you will know if you have fallen for over 7 stories when the quest shows as complete!
That is all you need to know about completing this chrome quest for week 6! Next up, why not find out what other week 6 quests are available? Good luck.
