How to Farm Enemies in Terraria

There are many different ways to farm mobs and get items in the game, but they all have some common elements:

  • First, you need to find a large free space. For this, large caves or large rooms in the dungeon can be suitable, which will need to be leveled.
  • Enclose this location with thick walls so that the enemies appear in clearly defined boundaries.
  • You will also need to build a safe zone on the farm, where you can hide from mobs and relax.
  • Campfires, Heart Lanterns, and Honey will help you regenerate health faster. Water Candles will increase the number of mobs that spawn, and Star in a Bottle will allow you to quickly restore your mana.
  • Also, be prepared since, while you edit the cave for yourself, you will constantly have to fight off mobs, which will greatly interfere with the process.

In the game, there are many ways to make a farm, but we will tell you about one of the best:

  • Find a large cave and make it with even walls and floor.
  • After that, build 2 elevations of stone, between which there will be a moat. Visually, it will look like a cut and parted mountain. Make these elevations high enough so that the mobs can’t get back out.
  • The width between the halves of the elevations should be 6-8 blocks, and the bottom should be even.
  • After that, pour a bucket of lava into this pit.
  • Then you need to dig yourself a room under the bottom of the lava, but so that it does not start pouring on you, and then close behind a passage to yourself.

After that, you can just relax and watch how many mobs die falling into the lava. Copper coins are burned, while more valuable items that are 14 or more pixels in size remain. The main thing is to collect items in time because when 400 items accumulate, the older ones will begin to disappear.
