Hogwarts Legacy cow guide
Hogwarts Legacy has a large map divided into three parts—World, Hogwarts, and Hogsmeade. Players can find cows on the outskirts of towns and villages, and a common spot to find cows is around Brocburrow and East Hogsmeade Valley. Search around the edge of these areas to come across cows. If you cannot find them, try changing the time from day to night or night to day, which can make cows respawn.

Before starting your search for cows, make sure to learn the Flipendo spell in Hogwarts Legacy: when cast on a cow, this spell will cause that cow to tip over hilariously.
There is also a hidden achievement behind tipping cows in Hogwarts Legacy. If you flip a cow ten times, you will achieve the Spilled Milk achievement. You can flip the same cow over and over again, flip ten different cows, or anything in between to get this achievement.
How to learn the Flipendo Spell
Flipendo is a simple and fairly easy-to-learn spell, taught by Professor Garlick in his second assignment in Hogwarts Legacy. In that assignment, you have to grow and harvest Fluxweed and use Chinese Chomping Cabbages, a Mandrake, and Venomous Tentacula simultaneously.
Cows are peaceful creatures in Hogwarts Legacy, so you can’t target them directly. Try to use the Flipendo spell toward the direction of cows to hit them. If an enemy is nearby, the game’s AI will automatically target the enemy instead.
