Here’s where to find Gammoth, one of these Royal monsters.

How to Find Gammoth in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Gammoth is among the first Royal monsters you are able to encounter and thus get in your party, although you are probably going to have quite a few troubles the first time you encounter it. Gammoth can be found in the Woodland – Loloska Region map, very close to the Woodland Catavan Stand. As the monster is located so close to a fast travel point, it’s very easy to farm it without having to spend so much time.

Weakening Gammoth enough to make it retreat to its den isn’t going to be any easy, especially if you’re still in the early game. As the monster uses Power Attacks, you should bring Monsties that can unleash Speed Attacks to stand a chance. Don’t worry if you are not able to do much against it: Gammoth is among the strongest monsters in the game, so level up a bit and then try again.
