The Glow Squids are one of the many passive mobs in Minecraft that you can even kill to obtain experience points—as well as—items like Glow Ink Sacs that you add to signs to make glowing texts, and if that is not what you want, you can also use it to make glow item frames.

The Glow Squids are passive aquatic mobs that players can find in underground water sources. 

The Glow Squids usually spawn in dark underwater areas. Especially, in ravines and underground lakes. You can also find a bunch of Glow Squids in the ocean depths.

You can also look for Caves with a decently sized water source—Glow Squids spawn there too. 

But before exploring the dark caves that can even get you killed. Make sure you have tools like a Torch and other necessities.
