Here’s how to get Nargacuga, a powerful monster that can be made to join your party fairly early in the main campaign.

How to Get Nargacuga in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Before being able to get Nargacuga to join your party as a Monstie, you will first have to defeat one. This is something that you cannot miss, as you will have to fight one as part of the main story in the game’s second region, Alcala. Thankfully, you are not supposed to make it retreat to get one of its eggs, which is something you need to do to get most of the game’s monster eggs.

Once the boss Nargacuga has been defeated, its eggs will start appearing in monster dens around the Alcala region. Powerful variants of Nargacuga can also be obtained via rare eggs, which can only be found in rare monster dens, which you will recognize instantly by their gold color. Take advantage of the Prayer Pot buffs to increase your chances of finding one of these rare eggs.
