How To Find The Abyss Bat in SaGa Frontier Remastered

SaGa Frontier Remastered features several different enemies that are very hard to beat, but very few of them can compare in terms of power with the Abyss Bat, which essentially considered as the game’s ultimate secret boss. The real challenge is not just being able to defeat it, but also being able to encounter it, as this is an elusive enemy that can only be fought in a specific location, and only after certain conditions have been met.

How To Find The Abyss Bat In SaGa Frontier Remastered

To find the Abyss Bat, you will need to head to the Shingrow Ruins. This location doesn’t hold anything of real value or interest, and it’s only worth exploring if you are playing the T260G scenario. Or if you’re seeking out the Abyss Bat, as it can only spawn in this location.

To be precise, the Abyss Bat can only spawn in the last room to the north. Here, you will have to fight enemies until you encounter a total of 12 groups of Shadow Bats. Once you have defeated the final group, head out of the room and then immediately head back in. Once back inside, a new event will start, and you will be face to face with the Abyss Bat, the strongest enemy in SaGa Frontier Remastered.

There really isn’t a special strategy to defeat this boss, other than hit hard with the strongest weapons and Arts you have, and equip the best gear to limit the damage unleashed by the boss’ ultimate area of effect attack. Always keep your health up, attack when you have no need to heal, and hope the Abyss Bass doesn’t start unleashing the area of effect special attack multiple times in a row.
