Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a brand new first-person shooter and adventure game that takes players back to the acclaimed Warhammer 40k universe but this time with an impressive world and level design that just sets the game apart from previous Warhammer titles.
There are lots of new features that players can enjoy such as different maps, and weapons with new and interesting characters that’ll make them revisit the dangerous Warhammer universe over and over again. But like many new titles, there are bound to be bugs. So in this article, we’re showing you how to fix Warhammer 40k: Darktide Toughness Bug.
How To Fix Warhammer 40K: Darktide Toughness Bug
The Toughness Bug in Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a blue bar on your health that’s also rechargeable via several methods and allows you to block any incoming damage. If this bug is active in the game, you’re likely to notice that you’re randomly taking hits that decrease your health rather than your current active Toughness.
Also, the cause of this bug seems to stern from having a Toughness value of 100. This can happen when you’re playing Veteran when you have curios equipped with a percentage increase to Toughness. So while we’re mostly speculating on the cause of the game’s Toughness Bug, it most likely has something to do with when the damage taken is above 100 Toughness.
So to fix this, you’ll have to abstain from playing Veteran and simply use another character that does not have the Toughness curio equipped. And although this will lessen your chances of survival and even impact how you play the game, it’s the only available fix for now until the developers release an official update/patch to fix the issue.
There’s been a lot of reported bugs on Warhammer 40K: Darktide ever since it was released in pre-order beta and although it’s currently available globally for all players, it appears some of the bugs simply we’re fixed during the game’s beta phase.
So hopefully the developers will fix the Toughness Bug soon as they’ve been doing. But for now, you’ll have to enjoy the game without Toughness, at least for a while.
