How to Own a Pet Chihuahua in BitLife

Chihuahuas are funny little guys, but absolutely no one can deny their adorableness. With huge beady eyes, big perky ears, and charming faces, it’s no surprise that chihuahuas are a popular breed. Whether you’re trying to complete the Simpler Life challenge or you just want to have one of these buddies, here’s how to get a chihuahua.

First, you’re going to need some money. The amount of money you’ll need depends on how you get a chihuahua, which we’ll explain some more later on. For now, make sure that you’ve saved up some money.

Now, let’s find your perfect chihuahua! Go into the Activities menu, and tap on Pets. Your first option is to look through the local Animal Shelter. You’re presented with a random list of dogs and cats, varying in age and personality.

Most of the time, you’ll only see pointers and mutts, which are dogs of mixed breeds. Rarely, you’ll sometimes see pure-breed dogs, so you might get lucky and find a chihuahua. If you do, the adoption fees are only around $100, so it’s pretty cheap.

Unfortunately, the Animal Shelter is pretty unreliable for finding specific breeds. Your other option is to turn to a Dog Breeder, where you can find exactly what you want, including chihuahuas. The list of chihuahuas will have a random selection of chihuahuas, like the Animal Shelter.

While the Dog Breeder is convenient and fast, it’s also much more expensive than the Animal Shelter, which is why we mentioned to have some money saved up earlier.

Whichever way you take, we hope you’re happy with your little new chihuahua friend. If you have any other questions or tips, let us know in the comments below, and don’t forget to check out the rest of our BitLife coverage.
