This is the tricky part. Since shattered weapons are technically blueprints for legendary pieces, naturally, it’s not that easy to obtain them. Shattered weapons drop as loot after defeating V Blood bosses, so don’t expect to find these items just laying around in the world.

You can find V Blood bosses in Dunley Farmlands or Farbane Woods—they’re easily recognizable by their blue names. Therefore, getting shattered weapons will require you to go through some trials and tribulations. And the effort doesn’t stop with killing those bosses and getting the loot.

Once you get shattered weapons (which are just improved versions of different regular pieces), you will need to forge them into legendary weapons in the Ancestral Forge, which you can unlock after defeating Raziel the Shepherd, a level-57 boss in the Dunley Monastery.

Besides an Ancestral Forge, you will also need Radium Alloy that you can craft from Sulphur, Tech Scraps, and Sludge-Filled Canisters after defeating Ziva the Engineer of the Eastern Gloomrot. When you take care of all these elements, you will be able to turn your shattered weapon into a legendary one and reap the benefits of all your hard work because you’ll have some of the best weapons in the game.
