Right after spawning into the world of Palia, you are greeted by a beautiful, lush green scenery: Kilima Valley. You meet wonderful villagers as you explore the world, and some of them teach you essential survival skills, such as cooking. By finding and collecting different cooking ingredients, you can make delicious dishes that increase your focus when eaten, or fetch a hefty price when sold.
In this guide, we discuss Wild Garlic, a crucial ingredient for many different recipes, and explaining how you can find it in Palia.
Palia Wild Garlic locations and how to use
As its name suggests, Wild Garlic is a plant item found in Kilima Valley—unfortunately, this item cannot be found in Bahari Bay. It is an uncommon item, so you don’t find it in abundance everywhere. I was able to find four Wild Garlic plants southeast of Leafhopper Hills. Later, I discovered four more by heading east from the Central Stable located south of City Hall in Kilima Valley.

If you prefer not to spend time searching for a handful of Wild Garlic plants, purchasing them from the General Store in Kilima Valley is another option. You can buy up to 10 Wild Garlic plants from the General Store for 30 gold coins each. If you are still in the early game, though, we wouldn’t recommend spending money on items that can be found growing in the wild.
Alternatively, you can also send out requests for Wild Garlic and receive it from fellow humans in Palia. Once you have obtained some Wild Garlic, you can use it to cook the following dishes:
- Akwinduu Chapaa
- Chapaa Masala
- Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Creamy Carrot Soup
- Fish Stew
- Hearty Vegetable Soup
- Loaded Potato Soup
- Meaty Stir Fry
- Palian Onion Soup
- Ramen
- Trout Dinner
- Veggie Fried Rice
