How to Get Bad Ending in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed tells the tale of Starkiller, the secret apprentice of the infamous Darth Vader. Though raised to fight the Empire’s enemies, Starkiller develops his own destiny, and this all culminates in the ending of the game. Today, we’ll show you how to get the dark side or bad ending in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed! Of course, there will be plenty of heavy spoilers ahead!

How to Get the Bad Ending in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The final mission in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the Death Star itself. Starkiller and his crew blitz the Death Star to enact revenge against the Empire and his former master.

Starkiller fights his way through the hordes of Empire troops until he makes it to the main chamber of the Death Star. You’ll face off against Darth Vader here, and he’s one of the strongest opponents you’ll face thus far. Use all of your saber combos and force powers together to take him down.

Upon defeating Darth Vader, his armor will break, and the Emperor will tell Starkiller to end him. The Emperor is standing to your left, while the beaten and battered Darth Vader is standing to your right. To get the bad ending, you must finish the job and end Darth Vader once and for all. Do NOT go towards Palpatine on the left, otherwise you’ll be locked into the good ending route.

You will have to fight Darth Vader once more. Despite his broken armor and hollow appearance, he’s way more aggressive and faster than before. Darth Vader won’t go down without a fight, it seems! Thankfully, his move set doesn’t really change for the rematch, so you don’t have to worry about any new surprise moves. Keep the pressure on with Sith Seeker and Lightning, and he should go down with few problems.

With Vader vanquished, it seems the stage is set for Starkiller to become Palpatine’s new apprentice. However, Starkiller gives into his dark side lust for power, and attempts to kill Palpatine to take his throne. Unfortunately, Palpatine overwhelms Starkiller, and Starkiller is left to a fate worse than death…
