How To Get Bagon In Brilliant Diamond

Bagon the dragon type from Pokemon

Bagon is version exclusive to Shining Pearl, so if you have Brilliant Diamond, you will not be able to find it in the wild or the Underground and will have to get it through a trade. If you haven’t purchased either version of the game yet, it’s always a good idea to check and see what Pokemon are version exclusive so you can ensure you’ll be able to catch the ones you really want without hassle.

How To Get Bagon In Shining Pearl

Bagon is locked in the postgame section of Shining Pearl, so to get it, you’ll have to complete the main story, defeat the Elite Four and Cynthia, and finish the Sinnoh Pokedex. Once you have acquired data for every Sinnoh Pokemon, you will unlock the National Dex, which will make Pokemon that are normally found outside of Sinnoh now available.

You can find Bagon in the grass on Route 210 or in the Underground in the Stargleam Cavern, Spacious Cave, or Dazzling Cave.

How To Train Bagon

Bagon doesn’t need any special items to evolve. At level 30, it will take its second form Shelgon and at level 50 it will become its final form Salamence. Some recommended moves to give it are Flamethrower, Dragon Claw, Outrage, and Focus Energy.

Overall, this is a powerful dragon that will carry your team through the postgame and beyond!
