Dragonflight, the ninth expansion for the long-running fantasy MMORPG World of Warcraft, has launched, introducing features such as the new environment Dragon Isles, the ancestral home of the Dragon Aspects.
There’s also a new playable race in the game, known as the Dracthyr, and a new Dracthyr-exclusive player class, known as the Evoker. The Evoker is a race and class combination that allows you to switch between a human-like appearance and an anthropomorphic dragon-like form.
But the purpose of this guide has little to do with those and more to deal with the PvP aspect of the game, popular among the more competitive fans. Here is all you need to know on how to get Bloody Tokens in WoW: Dragonflight.
How to get Bloody Tokens in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight
Bloody Tokens are a new PvP-related currency in the Dragonflight expansion, and they can be turned in at the capital city of Valdrakken to an NPC named Malicia. You can earn them via PvP activities, and they’re used to purchase pieces of gear that start at item level 389. The game’s expansion starter/green gear begins around the item level 235.
You can also earn Bloody Tokens through world PvP quests as long as you have War Mode enabled. To turn on this mode, you need to toggle it manually by pressing N, opening the talent screen, and looking for the War Mode crossed swords icon in the lower right.
Once you activate it from there, you can start farming Bloody Tokens when you’re in your faction’s capital city. The quests, on the other hand, might involve killing a certain number of CPU-controlled mobs and/or enemy faction players that are similar to “bonus objectives” in the game’s main story/PvE.
Below are the current rewards you can buy with Bloody Tokens at item level 389:
- Bracers, belts, cloaks (100 tokens)
- Boots, shoulders, gloves (150 tokens)
- Helmets, chests, and legs (200 tokens)
- Weapons (250 tokens)
For now, there are no other pieces of gear that can be acquired in any other slot with Bloody Tokens.
