In Dying Light 2, you can get the make-shift handmade gun, Boomstick’s blueprint, from the Craftmaster NPCs for 400 Old World Money once you reach Central Loop after completing the story quest, Let’s Waltz.

We got the Boomstick blueprint from one of the PK Craftmaster NPCs. Meanwhile, in a different account, we saw the Boomstick blueprint was sold by a Survivor Craftmaster NPC at the Fish Eye. 

In any case, once you reach the Central Loop check out the Craftmaster NPCs to get hold of the Boomstick blueprint.

Also, when you complete the Observatory story mission, you get Boomstick as a free reward. But since you can use the gun only two times, it’s better to get the blueprint. So that you can craft Boomstick whenever needed.
