Where to Get Chorizo in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
While some ingredients are available only after you get a certain number of Gym badges, Chorizo is one of the items that are unlocked by default when you start the game.
You can find chorizo, along with other standard food items, in Deli Cioso shops scattered all over Paldea—for example, in Artazon, Cortondo, or Mesagoza.
Buying chorizo will set you back 150 Pokedollars.
Chorizo Meal Power Boosts in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Each food item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet comes with unique perks that can be useful in certain aspects of the game, but be careful—some ingredients will boost certain powers but, at the same time, lower others.
Eating chorizo brings you the following boosts:
- Encounter Power: 4
- Experience Point Power: 7
- Item Drop Power: -1
Each ingredient also gives boosts that correspond only with specific Pokémon types. Chorizo brings you the following type boosts:

- Dragon: 12

- Poison: 12

Chorizo is also a required ingredient in a Shiny boost sandwich that significantly increases your chances of encountering and catching a Normal Shiny Pokémon.
