Being tasked with completing the Pokemon world’s first ever Pokedex is no joke. You have a lot riding on your shoulders, which involves you catching some of the rarest of rare Pokemon in Hisui.
One of these incredibly rare Pokemon is Cranidos. Cranidos was initally introduced in the original Generation IV games, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and was a Fossil Pokemon possessing the a pure Rock typing. Originally, you would need to find the Skull Fossil and revive it into a Cranidos, but such is not the case in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
If you want to find out how to get Cranidos in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, then this guide is just for you; read on below!
Where to Find Cranidos in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you won’t be find any Skull Fossils on your journey. Instead, Cranidos can be found as an overworld spawn, a mighty rare one, in fact.
Cranidos can only be found in Space-Time Distortions that appear in Mount Coronet. Any Space-Time Distortion that doesn’t appear in Mount Coronet has a 0% chance to spawn a Cranidos within.
Once you come across a Space-Time Distortion within Mount Coronet, which appear completely at random, you have a very low chance to encounter Cranidos within. You also have a chance to come across Rampardos, Cranidos’ evolved form.
Since these are the only places that Cranidos spawn, you will need to come prepared with tons of Great / Ultra Balls, a Pokemon that knows the move False Swipe, and maybe even one that knows a move which inflicts a status condition like Paralysis, for good measure.
