How to Get the Good Ending in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The final mission in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the Death Star itself. Starkiller and his crew blitz the Death Star in an attempt to put a stop to the Empire and pave the way for the Rebel Alliance.

Starkiller fights his way through the hordes of Empire troops until he makes it to the main chamber of the Death Star. You’ll face off against Darth Vader here, and he’s one of the strongest opponents you’ll face thus far. Use all of your saber combos and force powers together to take him down.

Upon defeating Darth Vader, his armor will break, and the Emperor will tell Starkiller to end him. The Emperor is standing to your left, while the beaten and battered Darth Vader is standing to your right. To get the good ending, you must attack the Emperor and NOT finish off Darth Vader.

The Emperor laughs at Starkiller’s disobedience, saying that he knew he was going to turn on him. You will then face the true final boss of the game: Emperor Palpatine himself. Palpatine is easily the hardest boss in the entire game, and you’ll need to throw everything you’ve got at him to beat him. He’s particularly vulnerable to the Sith Seeker and Ground Slam moves. It’s going to be tough, but keep at it, and you can take him down.

Defeat Palpatine, and your reward is the light side/good ending of the game. Though Starkiller is ultimately mortally wounded in battle, he becomes an icon in the eyes of the Rebel Alliance and spearheads the push for them to fight back against the Empire.

That’s how you get the good ending in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. If you have any other tips or questions, let us know in the comments below!
