That aside, in Minecraft Java Edition, there are a few many ways in which players can enter the Spectator mode.
- Players can enter the command /gamemode spectator to enter Spectator mode
- If you are playing Minecraft in Hardcore difficulty, you can simply die to enter Spectator mode
- If you are using cheats, then you can press the F3 + N keys to enter Spectator mode
- And, at last, you can press F3 + F4 to enter game mode selector which acts like the Spectator mode
