The Katana has been one of the favorite weapons in most of Techland’s zombie games. And Dying Light 2 is no exception to that. After getting access to the game’s open world, many players spend a ton of time scavenging for better gear. Some even look for lethal weapons like swords, like a Katana.

Seeing that, we have prepared a handy guide that talks about how players can get the Katana in Dying Light 2 pretty early in the game.
How to Get Katana Early in Dying Light 2
In Dying Light 2, you can get the Katana from the Bazar Vendor. He sells the Katana for 542 Gold (Old World Money).
You unlock the Bazar settlement by progressing the game’s main storyline. When you complete the story quest, Markers of Plague, you get access to the City of Villedor, Dying Light 2’s open world.

After the quest, use the Binoculars to locate the Bazar and head towards it. Inside, you will find the Vendor and the Craftmaster.
You can talk to the Vendor and purchase the Katana. In case you don’t have 542 Gold to get the Katana, you can sell valuables in your inventory. They fetch a great price.
Once you have bought the Katana, you can open player inventory and equip it. You can get a few mods for the Katana from the Craftmaster and add them to your newly obtained Katana to further increase the potential of the weapon.
Dying Light 2 is an action-horror game available on Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC platform, with a Nintendo Switch release planned for later this year.
