It took a pretty long time for the game developers to introduce the Fairy in the Pokémon series which a lot of players loved as it allowed them to access yet another Dragon type. So in this article, we’ll be showing you how to get Moonblast TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Get Moonblast TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The Moonblast is easily one of the biggest reasons why most players want to get their hands on the Fairy. That’s because the Moonblast has a massive 95 base power in addition to being able to lower the target’s Special Attack. It’s an incredible move that has 100% accuracy, something not a lot of Pokémon have. So the Moonblast is a distinct choice for pretty much any Fairy Special Attacker.

So how do you get this significant ability and teach it to your Pokémon? Well, unlike other TMs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can’t exactly teach the Moonblast to other Pokémon as there is no TM associated with the move in previous mainline Pokémon titles. So the only way to learn the Pokémon move is to level up a Pokémon that already has it.

What this means is that there are certain Pokémon that will eventually need to learn the Moonblast as you level them up and they become more powerful such as Sylveon and Gardevoir. So you really don’t need to worry about getting the Moonblast because unlike other TMs, it cannot be gotten from an NPC or from some hidden location in the game.

So that’s what we have for you on how to get Moonblast TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. We hope you’ve found the guide helpful and we got a ton of them that you can also check out! Happy Gaming.
