Like in every other Pokémon game, there are particular items that are usually very useful compared to others, and in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, getting more storage boxes is important.

If you’ve been following the Pokémon franchise for years and have been playing the previous games, then you’ll know that initially there was no limit to the number of storage boxes you could have. In Scarlet and Violet, however, you can only get the right storage boxes. So in this article, we’ll be guiding you on how to get more Storage Boxes in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Get More Storage Boxes in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

There’s a way of increasing the storage boxes you get in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet except the game doesn’t explicitly tell you how to do it Each of those 8 boxes has 30 spots inside each one where you can store your unused Pokémon and they can use it to organize teams or even create their own living Pokédex.

Upon opening your storage, eight boxes will be available by default but this can be changed with a few easy steps. So to get more storage boxes, put at least one pokemon in each of the available boxes. Afterward hit save then quit the game and reopen it.

After reopening the game, you’ll notice that you now have 16 storage boxes rather than the initial 8. You can repeat the process over and over again by putting at least one Pokémon in one of the 16 storage boxes, and then you’ll get 32 storage boxes instead of 16 using the same process.

Although event his method has a limit which is 32 storage boxes. And some players may struggle with finding a particular Pokémon to fill in each box as they’ll have to capture a total of 16 Pokémons to make it work. So that’s how to get storage boxes in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
