How to Get More Trait Slots in The Sims 4

The Sims 4 allows players to choose aspects of their Sims’ personalities, called Traits in the game. These personality traits can affect how each Sim behaves in certain situations, as well as their general emotional state.

Adult Sims can be given Traits when starting a new Sim in the Create A Sim screen, with up to three slots available. If creating a family, toddlers can have one trait, and teenagers can have two. Adding The Sims 4 Traits Mod

If you are looking for a way to add another couple of trait slots for your Sim in The Sims 4, you can do this in Create A Sim, but you need the help of a cheeky mod. The Sims 4 More Traits Mod was created by Sim enthusiasts and modders thepancake1 and MizoreYukii. With this mod downloaded, you can have five trait slots instead of just three, which really expands the personality possibilities for your Sim.

Not only does this mod add two slots for adult Sims, it also upgrades your toddler, children, and teenage Sim trait slots accordingly. Now toddler Sims can have two slots, children can have three slots, and teens can have four!

This mod only works in Create a Sim, on newly created Sims, so any existing Sims will continue with the slots they already have.
