The latest installment in the long-running Call of Duty franchise, Modern Warfare 2, is finally here, delivering a fast-paced, arcady first-person shooter experience with many challenges to complete in the game’s Multiplayer mode that are rewarding in their own way. There are certain types of kills that you can get in Modern Warfare 2, some of which are tied to challenges, like getting point-blank kills. This guide will explain how to get point-blank kills in Modern Warfare 2. Let’s get rolling!
How To Get Point Blank Kills In Modern Warfare 2
To get point-blank kills in Modern Warfare 2, you must be at least at a one-hand distance from the enemy and kill the opponent using hip fire and not while ADS’ing. Doing so will get you a point-blank kill in Modern Warfare 2.
Perks and Field Upgrades can help you get the point-blank kill in Modern Warfare 2. Such as the Dead Silence Field Upgrade that you unlock in the game by reaching Rank 51. What Dead Silence does is it removes your footsteps audio for a few seconds that you can elongate by getting kills.
That aside, to get point-blank kills in Modern Warfare 2, your weapon of choice should be a Shotgun. We managed to get point-blank kills easily using Bryson 800. While we did not use the “camping near a door or other such areas,” it is a great way to get the kills at point blank if you are unsure about your skills.
Why Do You Need Point Blank Kills in Modern Warfare 2?
Certain daily and other challenges, some related to unlocking Camo, require you to get point-blank kills to complete them and earn EXP Points and other lucrative rewards.
