How To Get Reflect (TM074) in Scarlet and Violet

Technical Machines, or TMs, are data discs that can bestow new moves upon your Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. TMs are a quick and easy way to hone your battle strategies, as you don’t need to grind out levels to learn certain moves. Today, we’ll show you how to get Reflect (TM074) in Scarlet & Violet.

Getting Reflect (TM074) in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

TM074 teaches the Psychic-type move Reflect, which puts up a wall of light that reduces the effectiveness of physical moves for five turns.

Before you can craft TM074 at a TM Machine, you’ll need to unlock it first. There are two ways you can get TM074, and the main method of unlocking it is through conquering Team Star’s Fire Crew Base.

The Fire Crew Base is located in East Province (Area One). Storm the base and defeat Mela, the leader of the Fire Crew, and you’ll automatically unlock the crafting recipe for TM074.

The other way is to simply find TM074 out in the wild. Fly to East Province (Area Three) Pokémon Center, then head northeast and cross over the river.

You should find a construction site near the mountain side. There are lots of shipping containers and scaffolding here, and TM074 is near the northwest side of the site.

There’s another location you can find TM074. Fly to Levincia, then head out to the big buildings over the water. In the southeast corner, you can find TM074 nestled behind a big spotlight.

Either way you choose to earn TM074, both ways will unlock the crafting recipe at TM Machines. To craft TM074 Reflect, you’ll need the following materials:

• 800 LP
• Drowzee Fur x 3
• Flittle Down x 3
