How To Get Rock Slide (TM086) in Scarlet and Violet

Rock Slide, aka TM086, is a Rock-type physical ability that players can use to flinch opponents (30% chance) while dealing damage. You can use it during battles to get the upper hand on your opponent by staggering them. But to do all that, you must know how to get Rock Slide (TM086) in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How To Get Rock Slide (TM086) in Scarlet and Violet

You can get the Rock Slide code name TM0086 in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet from the overworld or by unlocking it as one of the craftable TMs at the TM Machine. 

To unlock TM086 Rock Slide in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must find and defeat the Team Star’s Fighting Crew. You will find them just past the North Province (Area Two). 

Once you have the Rock Slide unlocked, you can visit any TM Machine and use the following items to craft it:

• 5000 LP (League Points)
• Bonsly Tears x3
• Rockruff Rock x3
• Nacli Salt x3

You will also find the TM086 Rock Slide west of South Province (Area Three). 

Another Rock Slide TM086 is located near the beach in East Province (Area Three).

You need an original piece to craft additional copies of the TM086 Rock Slide. Whether you get it by defeating the said group or from the overworld, it doesn’t matter. 

Once you have a TM086 in your inventory, it will automatically get unlocked as a craftable item at the TM Machine.
