If you progressed to the quest called “Fleeting Normality” in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, you know that Chi-Chi has an ingredient list that she wants you to take care of. The list includes Select Beast Meat, Frozen Rabbit Meat, and Fatty Giant Fish. She just wants to make a nice meal for you and the family, and go to the lake. That is what she needs to do it.
The first order of business is to find and collect three pieces of Select Beast Meat. If you don’t know where to look for it, this guide will help you learn how to get Select Beast Meat in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot without breaking a sweat. Let’s dive in!

How to Get Select Beast Meat at Blake Bog in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
One of the locations where you can get Select Beast Meat in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is Blake Bog. The best way to get this ingredient is by hunting gazelles, and you can find some in the southern part of the map in the Central Plains Area.
Turn on your Ki vision to locate these animals, or simply rely on the comments coming from NPCs nearby. You will want to look for a gazelle that has a dark brown back. When you spot one, run up to it and catch it when prompted.
Repeat the process if the gazelle you caught doesn’t drop enough of this ingredient (which is highly likely to happen), or go to one of the other locations where you can hunt for Select Beast Meat.

How to Get Select Beast Meat at Other Locations in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
Besides Blake Bog, you can hunt for gazelles in the Sacred Land of Korin, but the chances they will drop this exact ingredient are somewhat smaller compared to those in Blake Bog. Another option for getting Select Beast Meat is to hunt Large-Antlered Caribou in the North Mountains Area.
Of course, you won’t need any of this if you have already finished the Master side quest, given by Master Roshi, since the rewards for that story include 3x Select Beast Meat. If you’re not a fan of hunting, that’s a good way to come by this ingredient as well.
Off you go now to collect other items for Chi-Chi! Good luck and enjoy your meal!
