How to Get Shieldon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokemon Legends: Arceus, more than previous entries in the series, is all about completing the Pokedex—a task that is usually not that easy to complete, and that Pokemon Legends: Arceus makes more challenging by making some creatures very difficult to find.

Among these Pokemon that are hard to come by is Shieldon. Here’s where to find it.

How to Get Shieldon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

With Pokemon Legends: Arceus being set in the past, no one should be surprised to learn that Shieldon is not a Fossil Pokemon in the game. This, however, doesn’t make it any easier to find, as the Pokemon cannot be found roaming around in different areas, and can only be found in a specific location, the Coronet Highlands. As such, you will have to reach mission 11 and unlock the full area before you can catch one.

To catch a Shieldon, you will need to wait for a Space-Time Distortion to appear in the Coronet Highlands. Enter it as soon as it is fully formed, and then explore around: Shieldon is a rare spawn in these distortions, so you may have to go inside multiple ones to catch it.

With a little patience and a little luck, it won’t take too long to catch a Shieldon. Add its Pokedex entry and become closer to achieving your main goal in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
