How to Get the Corrupted Crown in Grimace Race

As the title implies, you can race other players by riding on Grimace while he downs his signature shakes. The experience holds limited-time events where the speediest players can get their hands on special crowns, with the Corrupted Crown being one of the newest ones. If there’s a current limited-time event active, there will be a shining button on the right side of the screen that says something along the lines of limited UGC. You can tap or click on this button for more info about the event.

The current UGC is for the Corrupted Crown, which looks pretty sick. However, getting this thing requires you to complete three objectives that aren’t particularly hard, just really time-consuming. The objectives are:

• Reach Candy Island
• Reach Hologram Island
• Reach Easter Island

In order to reach the first island, Candy Island, you need to perform a rebirth at least once. Rebirth can be done once you have amassed enough crowns; 10,000 crowns to be exact for the first rebirth. Rebirth resets your wins but permanently increases your max speed and acceleration, so you should do it whenever you can.

You earn crowns for simply participating in the races. Each race is timed, and the farther you go, the more crowns you earn. During the countdown to each race, you can tap/click rapidly to build your speed. You can also buy pets with crowns that improve your stats as long as you have them equipped.

The next two islands require even more rebirths, so you’ll have to do a LOT of running for the massive amount of crowns you need. Once you complete all three objectives, the Corrupted Crown is yours to claim, but act fast, as there are only a certain amount available. Once all crowns are claimed, the event is over for good!
