Fortnite’s Winterfest event will soon be coming to a close. While the Winterfest event was a success in many areas, it wasn’t without its own hiccups.
There were serious issues with the server and players not being able to login into the game earlier on during Winterfest. Apparently, this is the key for you to get the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe for yourself.

How to Get the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe in Fortnite Chapter 3 Winterfest
Epic Games, through their Twitter handle, apologized for the downtime that players experienced during Fortnite’s Winterfest event and mentioned that, for their mishap, they will be compensating players by handing out a free Crescent Shroom Pickaxe to them!
Well, what are the requirements for you to claim it? All you need to make sure of is that you logged in at least once sometime during the Fortnite Winterfest event. If you’ve done that, you can receive the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe on January 7, at 7 PM ET.
Well, what if you have not logged in at all during the Winterfest event though? Don’t fret too much, as the item will still be available, but it’ll cost you. Epic Games will make the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe available for purchase through the item store after the event ends.
