Location of the Ember Shirt in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Ember Shirt in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is located in Goronbi River Cave in Eldin Canyon, which you can find west of Goron Hot Springs, close to the fork in the road between Gortram Cliff and Goronbi River.
Just like always, if you’re exploring the caves in the Death Mountain area, you will need a Fireproof Elixir, so make sure to get or prepare one before you enter—you don’t want Link to catch fire from all that lava, don’t you?

When that Flame Guard counter starts, head into the cave and eliminate the Blue Horriblin lurking at the entrance. Jump over the stream of lava using the floating rock platforms, but be careful—Link can’t jump very far, so make sure to time it right. You can also use your Ultrahand ability and position the platform a bit more conveniently if you’re struggling.
Collect rubies from the chest and turn right because you will need to cross the lava river once more. This time, use Ultrahand to fuse two rock platforms because the gap is wider here. Along the path that opens up to the left, you can collect some resources as you go until you get to the lava waterfall. Here, the gap that you need to jump over is even bigger so you will need to wait and grab three floating rock platforms and attach them at their ends to form a bridge. It is a bit difficult to maneuver in this narrow space, but you should be able to do it fast enough.
When you cross, defeat the enemy that keeps spitting fireballs your way by using White Chuchu Jelly and collect the loot. Now, you will need to break your stone bridge apart again and use one of the platforms to float down the lava river until you can jump to the area to your right.
Climb up over a few steps ahead and go through the opening in the wall to find a small shrine with a chest that contains the Ember Shirt.
How to Get the Fire-Breath Lizal Blade in Tears of the Kingdom
Before you move on to the chest with the Ember Shirt, you can do some more Ultrahand platform joining and make a path to the collapsed bridge above the area where you jumped off your rock boat. You will need to connect five platforms and rotate your rocky path so that you can connect the ledge and one of the steps that would take you to the Ember Shirt. The Fire-Breath Lizal Blade is waiting for you in the chest on the ridge when you climb up.
That’s it! Now you have the Ember Shirt in your inventory, and don’t forget to explore the newly opened chamber so you can start the Misko’s Treasure of Awakening quest.
